Cam Smith News: Jumps up to FBS

Smith will transfer to UNC Charlotte, per NC Football News.

Smith was dynamic at FCS Western Illinois in 2024. He ran for 802 yards and seven scores with the Leathernecks last fall, while also catching 33 passes for 306 yards and five touchdowns. He'll look to bring that versatility to the 49ers' backfield in 2025.
