Christian Abney News: Lands with Illini

Abney (transfer portal) announced Thursday he's transferring to Illinois, Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.com reports.

Abney is the fourth tight end prospect to sign with Illinois from the portal. He's got excellent size at 6-foot-5 and could make an impact down the line. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.
