Schultz was initially ruled out ahead of Thursday's season opener but surprised everyone by catching a pass in the first half. The 6-3 junior has moved from linebacker, to defensive end and now to cowboy back, which is a hybrid fullback and blocking tight end position. Schultz likely won't be catching many passes this season but could be on the field more often than not as a blocker.
