Parker Grothaus

Grothaus committed to Florida State coming out of high school and served on the scout team during his first year on campus in 2018 before appearing in all 33 of the Seminoles' games in the three seasons that followed. He worked primarily as a kickoff specialist during his time in Tallahassee, though he connected on four of seven field-goal tries and 19 of 20 extra-point attempts between the 2019 and 2020 seasons. The 6-foot-2, 224-pound kicker will technically have two years of eligibility remaining, though he implied in his announcement that 2022 will be his final season of college football. Expect Grothaus to vie for a role as the Mountaineers' kickoff specialist and placekicker this fall.
