ANALYSIS
The walk-on redshirt freshman served as North Carolina's backup quarterback for the final eight games of 2019, appearing in three contests and completing three of four attempts for 48 yards. He'll presumably look to move to a school that's willing to put him on scholarship and/or present him with a clearer path to playing time. Jace Ruder has been serving as sophomore signal-caller Sam Howell's top backup through the Tar Heels' first four games this fall.
