McLennan should have the backup role on the Flames in 2006-07. That being said, he won't get much playing time being the backup for one of the best goalies in the game and will not have much fantasy impact.

McLennan is ideal for the position he's about to fill. With Luongo playing 60-70 games, the Panthers need a solid No. 2 who doesn't mind long idle stretches. Enter "Noodles" - a life-long NHL back-up. He's also an ideal veteran in the clubhouse. Too bad that doesn't equate to fantasy value.
