Michael Lindqvist

Lindqvist will be looking to follow in Mats Zuccarello's footsteps as an undersized winger coming over from Sweden. The 5-foot-11, 172-pound forward will likely need to bulk up a bit and get used to the North American rink in the AHL first, but his power-play prowess should keep Lindqvist in the conversation to make the big club -- half of his 20 goals in 33 games for the SHL's Farjestad BK last season came with the extra man. It also helps that the Swede is a right-handed shot, as all but two of the locks to make New York's roster up front are lefties.
