Nedeljkovic made 10 appearances (six starts) on loan with Leipzig from Aston Villa.

Nedeljkovic was a solid full-back option during his time with Leipzig, and did enough that club is reportedly considering activating the purchase clause. The defender failed to get on the scoresheet but closed the season with starts in six of the final seven matches.
