Riess allowed a goal while making a save during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Mainz.

Riess allowed the opening goal of the match in the 16th minute, but held Frankfurt from there as Mainz came from behind for a point. The start was the first of the season for Riess who could remain in goal pending the severity of Robin Zentner's injury.
