Pope had one save and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Brighton.

Pope limited opponents to no more than one goal for the seventh time in eight games and is up to 20 saves, compared to seven goals against in that span, including four clean sheets. Up next for Newcastle is a meeting with Chelsea on Sunday.
