Pepelu Injury: Leaves early with discomfort

Pepelu was forced off in the 79th minute of Saturday's 3-0 win over Getafe due to discomfort, accoridng to manager Carlos Corberan. "Pepelu has a little discomfort in the pubis area, for a few weeks he was treating it, but there has come a time in the game where he has asked for the change, because I understand that the discomfort did not allow him to perform at the level with which he had to end the game."

Pepelu had to exit Saturday's match after he felt discomfort with an ongoing issue, as a nagging groin injury finally took effect. That said, he will hope this is minor and something he can hold off treating until the offseason. He was replaced by Enzo Barrenechea, who could enter the starting XI in Pepelu's place if he misses time.
