Bornauw scored twice and assisted once in 15 appearances (eight starts) in the Bundesliga.

Bornauw played a limited bench role, largely due to a bevy of injuries throughout the campaign. The defender wasn't a major starter even when fully fit though, playing off the bench for the most part. Bornauw has a year left on his deal and seems to be set for a depth role next season.
