Adell is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Jorge Soler will make the start in right field, as Logan O'Hoppe is at designated hitter with Travis d'Arnaud behind the plate. Adell is slumping at the plate, slashing .063/.318/.250 over the last seven days.
