Cavaliers Secure Huge Win Over 76ers
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 113-85, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers (14-8) delivered an impressive performance on both ends of the court and cruised to victory against another Eastern Conference playoff contender, the 76ers (12-10). It was a dominant performance for the Cavaliers, as they raced out to a 25-21 score in the first quarter and never looked back, to the point that they won each of the four quarters with ease. The Cavaliers pulled away for good with a 44-27 score in the second quarter, and as a result, they were leading by 21 points at the halftime break. The 76ers were downright awful in the second half and couldn’t reach the 20-point mark in each of the final two quarters, losing both by scores of 21-18 and 23-19, respectively. The Cavaliers moved to 9-1 at home with the win, while the 76ers fell to 5-5 on the road.

Joel Embiid was the leading scorer for the 76ers in this one but didn’t have a good performance, as he ended with 19 points and six rebounds while also adding three steals. Shake Milton notched 14 points, three rebounds and three assists, but no other Philadelphia player scored in double digits here. In fact, the 76ers were atrocious offensively and only shot 41.8 percent from the field, as well as 23.1 percent from deep.

Darius Garland led the way for the Cavaliers with 21 points and nine assists, while Donovan Mitchell posted 18 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals. Evan Mobley sniffed a double-double and finished with 16 points and eight boards while adding three assists. Isaac Okoro had 11 points and Caris LeVert notched 22 points with six boards and four assists.
