Thunder Rally To Top Spurs In OKC
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the visiting San Antonio Spurs, 119-111, at Paycom Center on Wednesday evening.

The game got out to a competitive start as the Spurs led 35-32 after one quarter. The visitors picked up the pace in the second and outscored the Thunder 42-28 in the quarter to take a 17-point lead into the break. The Thunder came out stronger in the third and chipped away to make it an eight-point game heading into the final frame. The Thunder kept the momentum going and outscored the Spurs 31-15 through the final frame to run away with the home win, ending a two-game slide. This marks the ninth straight loss for the Spurs.

Jalen Williams led the Thunder with 27 points, six rebounds and two assists, in 23 minutes. Luguentz Dort followed up with 23 points, four assists and two blocks, while Tre Mann added 16 points, three rebounds and two steals. The Thunder shot 52 percent from the field, including 9-of-27 from deep.

Meanwhile, Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 37 minutes. Keldon Johnson followed up with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Tre Jones tallied 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and a steal. The Spurs shot 45 percent from the field, including 10-of-37 from long range.

The Spurs (6-15) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Pelicans on Friday. The Thunder (8-13) take on the Timberwolves in Minnesota on Saturday.
