Jazz Defeat Clippers, 125-112
The Utah Jazz defeated the visiting Los Angeles Clippers, 125-112, at Vivint Arena on Wednesday.

A 35-26 first quarter set the tone for Utah in this game, holding the lead for all but a handful of minutes. They also rode a 36-25 their quarter to a game-high 17-point lead, with the Clippers never attempting a game-tying shot over the closing 17 minutes. The Jazz shot 55 percent from the field and 44 percent from three-point range while holding the Clippers to 41 percent from the field and 33 percent from long range. Utah also out-assisted Los Angeles, 24-16, while outscoring them in the paint, 52-42.

The Clippers (13-10) were led by John Wall, providing 26 points, two rebounds and five assists off the bench. Reggie Jackson led the starters with 15 points, three assists and two steals. Ivica Zubac amassed 12 points and seven rebounds, while Marcus Morris had 10 points and five boards.

The Jazz (13-11) were led by Jordan Clarkson, collecting 33 points, four rebounds and five assists. Lauri Markkanen totaled 23 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Collin Sexton compiled 21 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Jarred Vanderbilt finished with 14 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Kelly Olynyk also accumulated 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three blocks.

On deck for Utah is a home matchup with the Indiana Pacers on Friday. As for Los Angeles, they return home to play the Sacramento Kings on Saturday for their next outing.
