DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

There are six games on the NBA schedule Tuesday, including some really bad teams in action as the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers will all take the floor. That doesn't mean there aren't plenty of great options, though, for your DraftKings lineup.

Guards

Kyrie Irving, BOS vs. NY ($8,700): Irving has seen a lot of action with his new team, playing at least 36 minutes in all three games this season. While his scoring is down a bit at 20.0 points per game, his average of 4.7 rebounds per game is a full rebound higher than his previous career high for a season. He's also averaging a career high 2.7 steals per game, making him a valuable fantasy option even at this price Tuesday.

D.J. Augustin, ORL vs. BKN ($5,100): There are a couple of great cheap options at guard Tuesday, Augustin being one of them. He started in place of Elfrid Payton (hamstring) Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers and scored 36.5 DraftKings points. He gets another start Tuesday against a Nets squad allowing an average of 121.7 points per game. At this price, Augustin could be a great value play.

Patrick Beverley, LAC vs. UTA ($4,800): Beverley continues to be an excellent defensive player as he already has seven steals in two games this season. He's not just providing value on the defensive end though as he is averaging 12.5 points per game. Milos Teodosic (foot) will be out of action Tuesday, so Beverley may assume more point guard responsibilities. The price is right to take a chance on Beverley.

Forwards

Blake Griffin, LAC vs. UTA ($9,000): The Clippers offense is clearly running through Griffin with Chris Paul now in Houston. Griffin has thrived as the main man in Los Angeles, averaging 29.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season. With an excellent ball handler like Teodosic out of action, Griffin may have the ball in his hands even more. He could be in for a monster performance against the Jazz.

Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. NY ($6,000): Brown struggled offensively in his last game, scoring only nine points on 4-of-13 from the field. However, he still provided value by grabbing eight rebounds and recording two steals. The key is that he has played at least 37 minutes in two of three games this season. Expect him to turn things around against a bad Knicks defense.

Lauri Markkanen, CHI at CLE ($5,700): The Bulls just don't have enough healthy bodies up front, resulting in Markkanen playing at least 33 minutes in both games this season. The early returns for the rookie have been solid as he is averaging 30.0 DraftKings points per game. He should get significant run again Tuesday, making him a viable option at this price.

Centers

Anthony Davis, NO at POR ($10,900): Davis is averaging a whopping 64.3 DraftKings points per game this season. Not only is he excelling offensively by scoring 31.7 points per game, but he is also averaging a stellar 17.3 rebounds. Don't expect Portland to be able to slow him down Tuesday.

Nikola Vucevic, ORL vs. BKN ($8,300): Vucevic dominated the Nets last week when he scored 41 points to go along with 12 rebounds on his way to 63.0 DraftKings points. It wasn't just one good game for Vucevic though as he scored at least 45.8 DraftKings points in his two other games this season. Get him in your lineup.

Enes Kanter, NY at BOS ($5,300): The Knicks have a few quality options at center, but Kanter has been able to average 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game despite playing less than 25 minutes in both games this season. If you need to save money at center, Kanter is one of the better options for the evening.
