Trejo elected free agency Sunday.

Trejo has chosen to test the open market rather than report to Triple-A Albuquerque after clearing waivers. He'll search for a second chance elsewhere after struggling to a .175 batting average with two doubles, one RBI and three runs scored in 14 games this season with the Rockies.
