Kevin Herget News: Heading back to minors
The Mets optioned Herget to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.
Herget was with the big club one day, allowing two runs (one earned) over two innings in his lone appearance. Brandon Waddell is taking Herget's spot on the roster.
