Tommy Henry News: Dispatched to Triple-A

The Diamondbacks optioned Henry to Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Henry was recalled by Arizona on Sunday and made an appearance out of the bullpen in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Mets, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings. The lefty was unlikely to be available for the next few days, so the Diamondbacks will swap Henry off the 26-man active roster for righty Cristian Mena, who was recalled from Triple-A to give Arizona a fresh arm in the bullpen. Henry will likely shift back to a starting role as he returns to Reno.
