For the first time in his career Winder didn't start a game in 2023 splitting time between the majors and at Triple-A St. Paul. Winder compiled a 4.15 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and had a 7.27 K/9 in 34.2 innings with the twins, while things were worse at Triple-A pitching to a 6.16 ERA and 1.92 WHIP in 30.2 innings.
