After a solid season in the D-League and a good showing for the Cavaliers' squad in the Las Vegas Summer League, the 23-year-old Cherry earned a two-year contract with the Raptors this offseason. He shouldn't see many minutes in a crowded Toronto back court, as his shooting and distribution skills still need some polish, but Cherry's intensity on the defensive end should allow him to mesh well with coach Dwane Casey's system.
