Fernando Tatis Injury: X-rays negative

X-rays on Tatis' left forearm came back negative after he was hit by a pitch in Friday's game against the Pirates.

Tatis immediately departed the game after getting plunked, but he managed to escape the incident with only a bruise. He may sit down for a game or two if his forearm continues to bother him, but a trip to the injured list shouldn't be necessary.
