Jason Heyward News: Returns from injured list

The Padres reinstated Heyward (knee) from the injured list Tuesday.

Heyward landed on the injured list April 19 with knee inflammation, but he won't need any more than the minimum 10 days before returning to the Padres' lineup. Prior to his injury, the 35-year-old had been slashing .233/.303/.333 across 33 plate appearances since the start of April.
