Sports car racing legend and one of Canada's most recognizable drivers, Fellows, has long been regarded as one of the best - if not the best - of the NASCAR "road race ringers." But unfortunately, barring any last-minute adjustments, we won't be seeing the 54-year-old Fellows at either Sonoma Raceway or Road America this weekend,
NBC Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Due to sponsorship and schedule conflicts, Fellows won't be racing this road course weekend of NASCAR in either the Nationwide or Sprint Cup Series. In the Sonoma race one year ago, the veteran driver earned a respectable 22nd-place finish for Circle Sport Racing and the No. 33 team. Unfortunately, Fellows will be sitting out this weekend.
