Poor end to debut season

Colapinto was forced to retire on Lap 28 from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.

ANALYSIS
Colapinto started from the back of the grid due to a penalty received for taking a new gear box. Things didn't improve from there, as he was ultimately forced to retire halfway through the race due to a power unit failure. After a strong start to his F1 career, Colapinto was marred by mistakes in the second half of the season and failed to finish three of his last four grand prix. He does not currently have a seat for the 2025 season.
