Jazz Top Hornets, 119-111
The Utah Jazz defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 119-111, at Spectrum Center on Saturday night.

The Jazz (33-35) opened the game in strong form and progressively expanded their lead over the Hornets (22-47), extending a three-point advantage at the end of one to 16 points entering the final period. Utah was then able to keep Charlotte at a comfortable distance throughout the last 12 minutes despite the hosts scoring 30 points in the quarter.

Talen Horton-Tucker led the Jazz with a 37-point, 10-assist double-double that included eight rebounds. Walker Kessler generated a 17-point, 16-rebound double-double that included one assist and three blocks. Kelly Olynyk matched Kessler's scoring and added six boards and one steal. Lauri Markkanen contributed 13 points, 13 boards and three assists.

Kelly Oubre Jr. paced the Hornets with 24 points, complementing them with five rebounds, two assists and one block. Terry Rozier delivered 22 points, eight assists, six rebounds, two steals and one block. P.J. Washington supplied 18 points, seven boards, two assists and two blocks. Dennis Smith Jr. managed 13 points, five assists, three rebounds and two blocks. Gordon Hayward offered 11 points, four assists, three rebounds and one steal.

The Jazz remain on the road and visit the Miami Heat on Monday night, while the Hornets remain home and host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday evening.
