Magic Topples Heat in OT, 126-114
The Orlando Magic defeated the Miami Heat in overtime, 126-114, at Amway Center on Saturday night.

The Magic (28-40) opened the game in surprisingly dominant form, jumping out to a 34-24 lead over the Heat (36-33) through one. Miami bounced back during the second quarter to lop seven points from its deficit prior to halftime before each team matched each other bucket for bucket in the third quarter. The visitors ultimately forced overtime after a highly entertaining fourth quarter with a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Jimmy Butler, but Orlando made up for it with a sizable 18-6 edge in the extra period to secure the home victory.

Butler led the Heat with 38 points, supplementing them with five rebounds, two assists and one steal. Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro generated matching 14-point, three-assist tallies while recording seven and five rebounds, respectively. Gabe Vincent furnished 13 points, two boards, one assist and one steal. Kyle Lowry supplied 12 points, four assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block.

Wendell Carter paced the Magic with a 27-point, 11-rebound double-double that included two assists and one steal. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner produced 17 points apiece. Banchero added 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Wagner compiled eight boards and six dimes. Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs posted 16 points each off the bench while recording six and five rebounds, respectively. Suggs added four steals and three blocks. Markelle Fultz delivered 12 points, eight assists, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Gary Harris netted 11 points, two assists, one rebound, three steals and two blocks.

The Heat heads back home to host the Utah Jazz on Monday night, while the Magic hits the road to face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.
