Grizzlies Rally Late For Home Win
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the visiting Dallas Mavericks. 112-108, at FedEx Forum on Saturday evening.

The Grizzlies got out to a solid start with a four-point lead after one quarter and stayed in control through the second to take a six-point lead at the break. The Mavs picked up the pace in the third and outscored the hosts, 33-21, to claim a six-point advantage heading into the final quarter. The visitors held the edge for most of the fourth before the Grizzlies regained the lead in the final minutes and closed out their second straight win.

Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 25 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, in 35 minutes. David Roddy followed up with 24 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block, while Tyus Jones totaled 11 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and a steal. The Grizzlies shot 47.7 percent from the field, including 10-of-38 from deep.

Meanwhile, Tim Hardaway led the Mavericks with 23 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks, in 36 minutes. Jaden Hardy followed up with 22 points, two rebounds, three assists and a steal, while Josh Green tallied 21 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. The Mavs shot 45.9 percent from the field, including 15-of-43 from long range.

The Grizzlies (40-26) and Mavs (34-34) clash again in Dallas on Monday.
