Bulls Rally To Top Rockets In Houston
The Chicago Bulls defeated the host Houston Rockets, 119-111, at Toyota Center on Saturday evening.

The Rockets jumped out to a great start with a 10-point lead after one quarter, but the Bulls bounced right back in the second and cut it to a one-point game by halftime. The Rockets kept up the pace in the third and outscored the visitors, 40-33, in the quarter to take an eight-point lead into the final frame. The Bulls did not back down and chipped away through the fourth until they pulled ahead in the final minutes. They kept their focus down the stretch and closed out their second straight win, while this marks the third straight loss for the Rockets.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 36 points, nine rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block, in 43 minutes. DeMar DeRozan followed up with 27 points, six rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block, while Nikola Vucevic totaled 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and a steal. The Bulls shot 51.2 percent from the field, including 15-of-32 from deep.

Meanwhile, Jabari Smith led the Rockets with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal, in 36 minutes. Jalen Green followed up with 18 points, two rebounds, seven assists and a steal, while Kenyon Martin added 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting. The Rockets shot 48.2 percent from the field, including 16-of-34 from long range.

The Rockets (15-52) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Celtics on Monday. The Bulls (31-36) play host to the Kings on Wednesday.
