Chris Gratton

The good news is that Gratton turned into quite the leader for the Panthers last season - enough so to earn a contract extension when trade rumors were swirling. The bad news is was close to 40 points again, which just isn't worth your fantasy attention.

Gratton has been an enigma for most of his career. His hockey senses never really developed to match his potential. Furthermore, his lack of consistency makes him far from dependable, even for a third- or fourth-liner. His numbers have waned over the years and it's unclear exactly how the Panthers plan to use him, so wait and see. He's a veteran who's decent on face-offs, but he has minimal fantasy value anymore.
