IMSA has made its first-ever series-specific driver ratings change, confirming both Madison Snow and van der Linde as Gold-rated drivers when competing in any IMSA-sanctioned event beginning next year, sportscar365.com reports.

Van der Linde topped the time charts in Practice 2 at Watkins Glen, although it was Jack Hawksworth's 1:45.443 lap in the opening session that held as quickest of the day in GT Daytona. The Silver-rated South African's lap in the No. 29 Montaplast by Land Motorsport Audi R8 LMS came shortly before the car stopped on track, sportscar365.com reports.
