Udogie had a fairly disappointing season, one where he provided just one assist and failed to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League. He missed a month and a half due to a hamstring injury in the middle of the season and did not look quite the same after that. He was never touted as a great defender, but his lack of production on the attack is slightly concerning. Some of that is due to the attack often flowing through Pedro Porro on the opposite side, and that's a trend that will undoubtedly continue into next season. Unless Udogie can improve his play on both ends of the pitch, he could lose minutes to Djed Spence.
