Nuno Mendes News: Regular sight at left-back

Mendes started in 19 of his 24 appearances while registering two goals on 21 shots and three assists on 30 chances created in Ligue 1.

Mendes struggled for time last season due to an injury, but was back to the starting role at left-back he held the previous two seasons, starting in all but five of his league appearances this season. He would see a solid season in his two-way role, occasionally making runs up the flank to provide five-goal contributions while also being a solid one-on-one defender against some of the world's best attackers. He holds great value when it comes to full-backs that can attack and should be a piece of the squad for a while, especially after helping them to a UCL title.
