Sam Morsy News: Steady presence in midfield

Morsy recorded 33 appearances (31 starts) in the Premier League, tallying one goal, one assist, 24 chances created, 68 tackles, 29 interceptions and 44 clearances.

Morsy wasn't much of an attacking threat for the Tractor Boys, which makes sense given his holding role in midfield, but he still provided decent value from his defensive-minded position. Morsy is good enough to remain in the Premier League, but it's unclear if he'll sign with another team or if he'll remain with Ipswich in the 2025/26 Championship season. If the latter ends up being the case, Morsy should be a key player for Ipswich.
