Son Heung-Min Injury: Slightly down campaign
Son scored seven goals and provided nine assists across 30 appearances (24 starts) in the Premier League.
By any other player's standards, Son had a very productive Premier League campaign. Yet because of what he has done across the past 10 seasons, it was slightly underwhelming. He failed to score 10 goals for the first time since his first season with Spurs (where he only started 13 matches) and he recorded 16 goal contributions, tying his worst output since that same season. He dealt with a few injuries throughout the campaign, and his age started to show a bit on the pitch. Although he will view the season as an undeniable success after lifting the Europa League trophy, for the first time in his Spurs career there are questions surrounding his level of play heading into next season. Spurs may try to lighten his load next season as the club returns to the Champions League, and Son will look to get fit over the summer in order to rediscover his past form.
