Vanthoor maintained his undefeated pole streak in this year's IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season by leading a BMW Team RLL front row lockout for Saturday's Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, sportscar365.com reports.

BMW Team RLL stayed hot Friday at the Long Beach Street Course. Vanthoor posted a lap of 1:11.539 to edge out teammate, Sheldon van der Linde, to grab pole position and a front row lockout for BMW. It was Vanthoor's third consecutive pole position to start the 2025 season. He and his co-pilot Philipp Eng will be the team to beat Saturday at Long Beach.
