Casemiro News: Alternates between XI and bench

Casemiro started in 18 of his 24 appearances in the Premier League in 2024/25, tallying one goal, 83 tackles, 48 clearances and 22 chances created. He also started in 10 of 13 Europa League contests, recording two goals, two assists, 33 tackles and 26 clearances.

The veteran midfielder started in most of the games in which he saw action. However, he was also an unused substitute on 16 different occasions between the league and the UEL, so he was far from being one of the first names on the team sheet. Casemiro might be past his prime, but he improved drastically in the second half of the campaign, and he'll remain in the squad for 2025/26, although the nature of his role remains uncertain.
