Dylan Crews Injury: Swinging bat

Crews (oblique) began taking light dry swings Thursday, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

It's still unclear how far away Crews is from resuming field work, but manager Dave Martinez called the outfielder's return to swinging "encouraging." Crews has been on the shelf for nearly a full month due to a strained left oblique and remains without a clear return timeline.
