James Ellwanger News: Snagged by Twins

The Twins have selected Ellwanger with the 88th overall pick in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft.

Ellwanger dealt with some arm injuries during his time at Dallas Baptist, but he can flash loud stuff when he's on. The 6-foot-4 righty comes with significant bullpen risk long term, as the draft-eligible sophomore had a walk rate over 12 percent both years in college.
