Murf Gray News: Drafted by Pirates

The Pirates have selected Gray with the 73rd overall pick in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft.

An infielder from Fresno State, Gray was announced as a third baseman and hit .324/.398/.639 with 18 home runs and a 10.8 percent strikeout rate in 60 games this spring. He hasn't faced great competition but has a chance to hit for average and significant power.
