Robinson Pina News: Designated for assignment

The Marlins designated Pina for assignment Saturday.

Pina made his MLB debut Friday, pitching one inning and allowing a solo home run. He'll now be pushed off the 40-man roster in favor of Josh Simpson, though it's possible Pina gets picked up off waivers after posting a 3.47 ERA through 57 Triple-A frames.
