ANALYSIS
Rundles had been on the disabled list prior to his activation and release. He has not seen MLB action since 2009, so he will likely continue his career in another team's minor-league system. He hadn't appeared in a game for Norfolk this year.

The Indians turned Rundles into a reliever back in 2007 and might have stumbled across something. The big lefty (6-foot-5) limited left-handed batters to a .165 average in 29.1 innings at Triple-A with 40 strikeouts. He's not going to do much for your fantasy team as a mid-inning lefty specialist, but he'll make a decent living at it if he's given the chance. If that doesn't work out he could always opt for an anchorman position on the local news. Rich Rundles. Film at 11. It's got a nice ring to it.
