ANALYSIS
Pruitt was arrested for drunk driving this past February and was suspended by the Celtics. He played in 47 games last season and averaged just two points in 7.8 minutes per game.

Pruitt signed with the Knicks as a free agent after spending the last two seasons with the Celtics. He could make the team as a third point guard behind Duhon and rookie Toney Douglas.

A second-round pick in 2007, Pruitt got playing time when Rajon Rondo was injured, but ended the season in the D-League after the Celtics signed Sam Cassell. It's possible that Pruitt could get regular action this year as Rondo's backup, but that's far from assured.

An effective point guard at USC, the Celtics drafted Pruitt in the second round of this year’s draft with an eye to the future. This year, Pruitt will probably spend most of his time on the bench or even in the NBDL, honing his craft as an NBA point guard and building upper-body strength. Don’t expect him to produce much this year, and look elsewhere for young fantasy point guard talent.
