2019 Fantasy Outlook
Smailagic was drafted by the Warriors with the 39th overall pick in the 2019 Draft. The 19-year-old appeared in 47 G-League games with the Santa Cruz Warriors last season, averaging 9.1 points on 6.9 shots, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist across 17.4 minutes. Across seven 2019 summer league appearances, he posted a subpar 7.4 points on 8.0 shots, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 20.1 minutes. Smailagic likely won't be a regular rotation player at the NBA level next season, but he could certainly see some run late in blowouts or if the Warriors sustain significant frontcourt injuries.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might not remain with Warriors
FGolden State Warriors
March 14, 2021
Smailagic's time with the Warriors could come to an end once the current season finishes, speculates Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors traded up to acquire Smailagic with the 39th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, but he hasn't performed at an acceptable level and has logged just 14 NBA appearances. He also struggled in the shortened 2021 G League season, averaging just 7.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 fouls and 2.1 turnovers per game in 10 appearances while shooting just 15 percent from three-point range. With that in mind, the Warriors could part ways with the 20-year-old big man once the current year comes to an end since the next two years of his deal are nonguaranteed.
