Lahiri scored a three-under 68 in the final round at LIV Golf Virginia to finish tied with
Graeme McDowell for second.
ANALYSISAfter opening the tournament with a four-under 67, Lahiri surged to the top of the leaderboard with a bogey-free, seven-under 64 in the second round. He wasn't able to create breathing room on Championship Sunday and found himself in a six-way tie for the lead on the back nine. Lahiri was able to birdie holes 14 and 17 to stay in contention, but he couldn't convert a long birdie putt on the 18th hole to tie
Joaquin Niemann and force a playoff. Lahiri has finished as the runner-up at a LIV Golf tournament five times since joining the league in 2022 but has yet to capture an individual trophy. His next chance to do so will be in Dallas starting June 27.
