Another strong showing on tough test
Griffin closed with a one-over 71 on Sunday to finish in a share of 10th place at the U.S. Open.
ANALYSIS
Griffin came into the week with a lot of confidence after finishes of T8-1st-2nd in his last three starts, all on very tough golf courses. He was in the mix all week and collected another top-10 finish at Oakmont. Griffin will look back to his poor finish on Saturday when he went four-over on his final five holes to lose a lot of ground. It made it a very tall task on Sunday even with a lot of the leaders falling back. Griffin's 71 in the final round was a very strong score and he should be decently satisfied with the result. He will look to continue this run of great play at the Travelers Championship next week.
