Willett closed with a one-under 71 in the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open to move up into a tie for ninth place.
ANALYSIS
Willett has really struggled with his game over the last couple years and this was his first top-10 anywhere since a runner-up finish in Napa back in 2022. Willett's final round included an eagle, three birdies and four bogeys to move up 25 places on the leaderboard. The Englishman ranked top-10 for the week in SG: Putting and putts per GIR. Willett won't be in the field for next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but he will hope this result can be the start of some good play over the coming months.
