Iwata shot a four-under 68 on Sunday to slide into a tie for fifth place at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
ANALYSIS
Following a month-long stretch of mixed results on the Japan Tour, Iwata returned stateside, and impressed with a 15-under performance. He carded the second most birdies on the week with 22, and looked solid with the flat-stick, finishing second in strokes gained putting. A better week with his irons could have propelled him into the winner's circle, but the world's 221st-ranked player still has a lot to build on moving forward to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
