Uihlein entered Riyadh having recorded four runner-up finishes in LIV Golf but never winning a tournament. That trend looked close to being bucked as he entered the final round tied with Smylie at the top of the leaderboard, but Uihlein wasn't able to keep up with the 23-year-old Australian despite carding a bogey-free round.
